The eyes see, but the mind perceives,
And that which we hold as firm and sure,
Is in reality as transient and shifting,
As sand on some wild and windy beach.
Perhaps we would do better then,
To look for other ways to see,
And search for sight that has a greater reach,
And come to know, a deeper firmer reality.
